For instance, while the charges for non-maintenance of minimum balance for the metro and urban centre customers have been reduced from a maximum of Rs 50 per month (plus GST) to Rs 15 pm (plus GST), charges for the semi-urban and rural centre customers have been reduced from Rs 40 pm (plus GST) to Rs 12 and Rs 10 pm (plus GST), respectively.
