In 2022, 22,37,578 candidates took the intermediate examination, out of which 19,90,249 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 85.33. Although this percentage was lower than the 97.88 per cent pass rate in 2021, it is higher than the pass rates of pre-pandemic years. Girls had a higher pass rate of 90.15 per cent compared to boys at 81.21 per cent.
