They have good property which is big but not well maintained. Ordered some food which was okay. Parking space is available and driver accommodation as well. It is an okay place for short stay, if you want to just fresh up or spent overnight. Hotel New Sunder is a 10-minute walk from Sarawate, a tad longer from Indore Junction. It's good value, especially for a large city during the busy travel season. The hotel is reasonably clean throughout, though rooms are in need of repainting. The linens on our bed, and the towels, were all nice and clean, and the duvet had a clean slipcover, which I really appreciate. (I don't like the habit that most Indian hotels have of givi...

(I don't like the habit that most Indian hotels have of giving you only a bottom sheet and a blanket, because blankets are not washed every time). Linens were, however, thin and fraying; the towels are newer, and nice and large. Staff is friendly and very helpful -- the young man who brought our tea and breakfast each morning was cheerful and kind, which is such a nice thing in the mornings! There is no restaurant to sit in, but the food from room service is very good -- the tea was excellent and the besan childa is delicious.
