However, A welfare officer of WB LWB happened to be the guest in my lodge & his wife suggested me to take food from the restaurant of this hotel,in course of conversation, & she shared her experience about the food there. On my last day on 15.11.18, we spent the day almost in Mall & the restaurant / hotel was very near the Mall, no ups & down. The hotel is on Dr. Zakir Hussain Road, near the Mall { popularly known as Aastabal Road serves good food ,particularly Bengali preparation. We had not any opportunity to stay there as we had booked a room in tourist lodge of WB, Labour Welfare Department near Lalkuthi. We took our lunch there. We took rice & steamed fish [ vapa katla fish]. The preparation was very good, tasty , special dish of the hotel/ restaurant. They provide food & lodging to the guest, rooms are also good with fine mountain view. The location is the great advantage & the room tariff is also budget/ mid range type.
