Gurgaon: Taking another step towards digitization, the Haryana Urban Development Authority ( The move is aimed at making the booking transparent and convenient for the residents. However, the plan has enraged the employees of Huda and villagers, who from now on won’t be eligble for discounts. Earlier bookings were done manually at respective community centres, and Huda employees and villagers, whose land was acquired for developing the sector, used to pay a meagre price for the booking. They had to pay just Rs 4,000 per day as against the residents’ Rs 16,000 per day. Now, with the new system in place, villagers and Huda employees would have to pay Rs 14,650.
