The Institute currently offers five bachelor's degree (B. Tech) programs in various engineering disciplines, namely Civil, Chemical, Computer Science, Electrical, and Mechanical. Currently, there are four master's degree (M.Tech) Programmes offered by Civil Engineering, three in Electrical, and one each in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering departments. MS and PhD programmes are offered in all the disciplines. In addition, M. Sc. programs are offered in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics & Statistics. Further, a Masters's degree in Public Policy is being offered from 2022. In the year 2015, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has given 548 acres of land for setting up the permanent campus. The construction of stage 1 of the permanent campus which caters to 2,500 students, 250 faculty members, and 275 staff members has been completed. In addition to regular degree programs, these Institutes of National Importance (INIs) offer Summer Research Internship Programmes for Universities and Non- IIT students. These are generally a Two Months Paid Internship Programs for students of other universities. The students are expected to work on the project in-person and interact with the faculty mentor on a regular basis while staying on campus. As on 20 February 2023, there are Four IITs have announced Summer Research Internship Programmes 2023. Summer Internship at IIT Indore "IIT Indore has suspended the Summer Internship 2020 due to COVID 19 until further notice" Indian Institute of Technology Indore offers the Summer Internship for the aspirant students during the period May 1, 2020 to July 31, 2020, for pursuing internship under the guidance of a faculty advisor of IIT Indore in different disciplines/schools/centers. The interns will get an opportunity to interact and work with the IIT Indore faculty advisor and his/her research students. The interns will be allowed to access state of the art facilities at IIT Indore. The summer internship will help the students in achieving their professional goals. About the Programme Faculty Advisor A list of faculty advisor from the various discipline/school/center at IIT Indore is available at Duration Minimum of 1 month and maximum of 3 months Eligibility Graduate/Undergraduate students can apply Fees (non-refundable) Rs 5000/- per month + Laboratory charges per month (details attached Certificate Certificate will be issued to the interns on the successful completion of the internship Accommodation Accommodation is available at IIT Indore hostels.
