Updated on - Mar 9, 2023 Institute of Information Technology & Management was set up in 1999 by Mata Leelawati Shikshan Sansthan. The institute has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has been approved by AICTE, Govenment of India. IITM MCA has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The institute aims to be a centre of excellence promoting value-based quality education in the emerging areas of advanced professional studies in information technology & management. A unique personality development module is integrated with the syllabi to develop the soft skills of the students. IITM maintains constant communication with leading organizations in the industry through the Industry Institute Partnership Centre [IIPC]. IITM Delhi has also been affiliated to GGSIPU, Government of NCT of Delhi. It has been rated as Category ‘A+’ by State Fee Regulatory Committee (SFRC) and Category ‘A’ (Highest) by Joint Assessment Committee (JAC), Govt. of NCT of Delhi.The institute had excellent placements for the year 2021-22. The Institute aims to develop as a Centre of Excellence for imparting technical education and generating competent professionals with a high degree of credibility, integrity and ethical standards. The Institute has a sprawling campus where undergraduate programs in information technology and management are run in affiliation with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and are approved by the Government of NCT of Delhi. Programme: BBA Minimum Entry Requirements: Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks Duration: 3 years Intake and Reservation of Seats University approved intake for BBA (both shifts) is 360 each. The existing reservation policy stipulates 10% seats as “Management Quota Seats”. Out of the remaining 90% , 85% are reserved for Delhi candidates and 15% for outside Delhi candidates. Further reservation for specific categories is as per the guidelines of Government of NCT of Delhi. Eligibility Criteria Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject. Admission Procedure University Conducted CET: The admissions are carried out strictly on merit basis through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The University conducts central counselling for all the colleges affiliated with it for 90% seats except for management quota seats. Students are required to choose the college/institute during the counselling. For application forms the students are to respond to the advertisement by the University or its website or Management Quota Seats: The Institute conducts admission for 10% management seats.
