Key Features • Cloud storage: 10-200GB of storage for cloud backups is included, depending on subscription tier. Norton 360 Advanced comes with 200GB • VPN: A full version of Norton Secure VPN comes as part of a Norton 360 Advanced or Deluxe subscription • Webcam protection: Norton alerts you if any suspicious application tries to access to your webcam • Parental controls: Time limits and content filtering for children of various ages Introduction Norton is a venerable name in antivirus, and its malware-detection engine is among the most widely tested – which means we have plenty of solid, long-term evidence of its performance. Norton 360 Advanced includes a web dashboard that, along with listing your installed devices and online backups, can help you keep an eye on your credit rating, check for your personal data appearing in online breaches and provides all-inclusive helpline numbers in case you lose your wallet or fear that you’re the victim of identity fraud, with experts who can stay on hand and help you contact relevant institutions and authorities. Norton is clearly a behemoth of the home antivirus world, but can it hold its place as one of the best antivirus suites arou...

Here’s the best anti-spyware software in 2023: • 🥇 • I tested nearly 70 anti-spyware apps and found that premium antiviruses provide the best protection against spyware — as well as protecting you against all other types of malware, like viruses, worms, ransomware, and rootkits, and offering a wide range of additional security and privacy tools to keep you safe online. The best antiviruses use massive online malware databases that are continuously updated, alongside advanced detection and removal methods — like behavioral analysis and machine learning. However, not every antivirus or anti-spyware tool is effective. Many missed significant spyware samples and other threats throughout my tests. So, I’ve created a list of the 10 best antiviruses that can d...

How to get Norton from blocking Wild Tangent Games

Wild Tangent updates worked for a while, but now they are blocked. And I think I erased all sorts of stuff so nothing shows under "Quarantine" and Norton does not recognize what has just been blocked! The last time this happened I somehow managed to hit the correct keys and got Wild Tangent back. One VERY unhelpful suggestions given was to contact Wild Tangent for their input to resolve issues. Norton SafeCam

With google chrome I have it set to not allow access to my laptop webcam, also on Norton Safecam it is set to block access to google chrome. Whenever I close chrome I get a popup message that google chrome is trying to access my camera, also when I am browsing it keeps popping up from time to time with the same message. How do you stop these annoying popups, thanks • Thanks for your guidance SA, have discovered that the only way I can stop the popup from showing is by also switching off the radio button "Allow desktop apps to access your camera." The problem with this though is that it also stops the Skype camera from working. If I switch on the button "Allow apps to access your camera" with everything turned off except Skype it unfortunately allows the annoying popup to re-appear again. Yes this stops it thanks, however I prefer not to allow chrome to have access to my camera. In google chrome under security and privacy settings I have blocked sites form having access to camera so I'm unsure why it still keeps asking for access to the laptop camera meaning it gets blocked by Norton. Have done a thorough search using anti malware plus used autoruns and process explorer and there are no hidden malevolent programs requiring access to the camera, everything is clean. Perhaps this is actually a google chrome issue ? I too am having the same problem with the annoying popup. This happens with Chrome and Opera browsers. Is it not enough that I have set the SafeCam to block these ...
