Kusal Perera, the Sri Lankan skipper, says that they needed a win and it is good to win here, and when he gets set while batting, then he looks to bat out there for a longer time. IND vs BAN 3rd ODI: How to watch India vs Bangladesh match live

Team India will hope to end the three-match series against Bangladesh on a high by collecting a consolation win in third ODI in Chattogram on Saturday. India have had a mixed run so far this year, with the performance graph showing a gradual decline in the second half. And the back-to-back defeats in the first two games of the ODI series in Bangladesh, both games going down to the very last ball, has further deepened the crisis that Indian cricket finds itself in at the moment. Skipper Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid will no doubt have to go back to the drawing board after the tour is complete. But for now, the visiting side will hope to get their planning and execution right in the third one-dayer in Chattogram, although Rohit will not be participating in that game due to a thumb injury, with vice-captain KL Rahul taking over the responsibility in his stead. Bangladesh vs Afghanistan: Visitors confident of their chances in one-off Test without Rashid Khan Alick Athanaze, somersaulting Kevin Sinclair help West Indies to 3-0 UAE sweep Besides Rohit, seamers Kuldeep Sen and Deepak Chahar have also been ruled out with injuries, with the BCCI bringing left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav into India’s revised squad for the third one-dayer. Ahead of final white-ball game of India’s tour of Bangladesh before the action shifts to the two-Test series, we bring to you live telecast and other details pertaining to the match: When will the 3rd ODI between India and Bangladesh take...

IND vs BAN HIGHLIGHTS, 3rd ODI: India beats Bangladesh by 224 runs; Kishan slams 210, Kohli hits 44th century

Ishan Kishan, Player of the Match: I think it was a perfect wicket to bat on. Perfect situation for me as well. Was looking to watch the ball properly and go with the flow. I think when you have so many senior players in the team. We have been doing conversations. Here, you try to get a lot when you get few. I got a lot of help from the support staff. I was just picking the ball and the bowlers. Things went my way. After looking at the wicket, I knew it was going to play well. Was trying to smash the loose balls. There is so much conversation going on in the team for the fitness. • KL Rahul: This was expected from our team. Virat and Kishan set it up for us. The scores don’t suggest that the way he started off. He grabbed the oppurtunity with both hands. He batted brilliantly. Virat also used his experience and guided him. You know that the batters will come hard and you will get wickets. There was not much help. We took some brave chances. Very happy with our performance. We are learning as a team. Still try to get better. The results didn’t go our way in the first two games. We would want to take the confidence into the Test series. • Umran comes around the wicket and the ball beats Mustafizur and the keeper for FOUR byes. Mustafizur makes room and flays Umran’s fuller ball through cover for FOUR. Umran to Mustafizur, OUT! Umran sends the off-stump flying with a fuller delivery and that’s it, India beats Bangladesh by 227 runs. • Shardul to Mehidy, OUT! Full delivery and...

India beat Bangladesh by 227 runs

Umran Malik to Mustafizur Rahman, out, OUT! TIMBER! Umran Malik gets the last wicket! That is it from this game! He bowls this full and around middle, Mustafizur Rahman makes room and tries to go for the drive again, but this time fails to connect and the ball goes through to shatter the stumps. INDIA WIN BY 227 RUNS! Shardul Thakur to Ebadot Hossain, out, OUT! LBW! Shardul Thakur gets another in this over. Ebadot Hossain goes back for a duck. Shardul Thakur serves this full and on the leg stump line, Ebadot Hossain goes for the flick, but misses and gets hit on the pads. There is an appeal for LBW, and up goes the finger. Ebadot Hossain takes the review. The UltraEdge shows no bat involved and Ball Tracking indicates that wickets are umpire's call. So, the onfield decison remains and Bangladesh lose their ninth. Shardul Thakur to Mehidy Hasan, out, OUT! CAUGHT! Mehidy Hasan finds the fielder with perfection now and has to depart for a low score. This is fuller and outside off from Shardul Thakur, Mehidy Hasan looks to thrash this one through covers but doesn't get a hold of it. Mehidy ends up hitting it uppishly and to the left of the man at cover. Mohammed Siraj over there takes a good catch down low to his left and Bangladesh are going down in a hurry here. Shardul Thakur to Afif Hossain, out, OUT! CAUGHT! Up and over but straight to the man in the deep. Shardul Thakur pitches this one up outside off, Afif Hossain sees the width and lofts it stylishly over the point reg...

India vs Bangladesh, 3rd ODI: Ishan Kishan smashes fastest double ton as India deny Bangladesh clean sweep

NEW DELHI: Staring at clean sweep after suffering close defeats in the first two ODIs, India bounced back in an emphatic fashion and dished out an all-round performance to register a comprehensive 227-run victory in the third one-dayer against Bangladesh, their third-highest victory in terms of runs. Despite the record margin of victory -- biggest by any team against Bangladesh, the 1-2 series defeat will certainly rankle the Indian team as both matches slipped away from its grasp after being in pole position. Bangladesh skipper Litton Das' decision to bowl first backfired with Ishan Kishan taking the opposition bowlers to the cleaners from the word go and went on to smash the fastest double century in ODI cricket history off 126 balls. The total was always going to be insurmountable and Bangladesh were never in contention as they were bowled out for 182 in 34 overs with all the Indian bowlers being amongst wickets. Kishan's blistering innings and the intent he showed while catching Bangladesh attack by the scruff of its neck would definitely put the team management under pressure to take some tough calls as it moves into the World Cup year. In fact, such was his domination that Rohit Sharma's world record ODI score of 264 was in danger of being history. "I got out with 15 (14.1) overs left. I could have got 300 also," Kishan told official broadcasters during the innings break. Apart from Rohit's three double tons, the two other Indian batters to achieve the feat are maest...
