Age Criteria For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2023 examination. From 2019 onwards, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India has endowed NTA (The National Testing Agency) with the responsibility of organising and conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). JEE Main consists of two papers. Paper 1 facilitates admissions of qualified candidates to engineering programs at the undergraduate level, which are B.E and B.Tech, at IIITs, NIts, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). It also includes universities or institutions that are funded or recognised by State Governments that are part of the JEE Main exam. JEE Main also opens the door for JEE Advanced.
