Our social media and digitization have taken over and short format has taken over long format shows. Now, looks don't matter that much, especially in realistic cinema. I am looking for purely performance-based roles."

On Thursday, actor Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who played Mrs Roshan Sodhi in the TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), revealed that she quit the show earlier in March. Furthermore, Mistry also alleged that the makers of the show sexually assaulted her. One of the accused is Sohil Ramani, project head (TMKOC) retaliates saying that the actor’s accusation is a fabrication of lies.
