All about Kainchi Dham Ashram, Nainital The Kainchi Dham Ashram is the only ashram in the Nainital hill station located at the height of 1400 meters above sea level on Nainital-Almora road. The word Kainchi is derived from the Hindi word “कैंची”. Kainchi is a scissor-like shape that cuts and crosses each other. This ashram is between the two hills and it is the major attraction among the visitors. Kainchi Dham is a famous Hanuman temple and also an Ashram of Nainital. I recently visited Template as inquire about stay at ashram and here is the procedure for same. (1) Write a letter to Manager in advance, they will revert back to you if they approve your stay arrangement. Due to lack of network email doesn't work there. FYI : Only Vodafone works at Temple. Other network doesn't work. (2) You have to follow their rules during stay at ashram. Alternatively you can book hotel near to Temple. I stay at Sudha Amar Retreat which is hardly 1 KM away from Hotel. Let me know if you have any other question.
