Pradeep Ranganthan at a very young age has succeeded as a super hit director with Jayam Ravi's 'Comali' and as an actor-director with 'Love Today' that turned out to be the biggest blockbuster hit of 2022. He is now one of the most wanted in Kollywood and is said to have an interesting lineup of upcoming films. As reported by us much earlier Pradeep has signed on to play the male lead in director Vignesh Shivan's sixth movie. The major highlight is that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is bankrolling the project under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International along with Turmeric Media. Anirudh Ravichander has been approached to score the music and is said to have given his nod. Now the latest hot update on this as yet untitled project is that Nayanthara is going to play a powerful character on par with the hero. It is said that the Lady Superstar is keen to give her husband Vignesh Shivan all the support she can since he was removed from Ajith Kumar's 'AK 62' recently. Sources say that there will also be a young heroine pairing up with Pradeep Ranganthan. More details about this exciting project is expected to be available very soon. Stay tuned.

By Latha Srinivasan: Nayanthara, who is called the Lady Superstar in South cinema, is said to be the top contender for the Kamal Haasan film with Mani Ratnam. This news has been doing the rounds in the Tamil film industry in the last few days and fans are really excited. Kamal Haasan is reuniting with Mani Ratnam after a record 35 years. The last film that the Ulaganayagan worked with Mani Ratnam was Nayagan in 1987. For those who don't know, Kamal Haasan is Mani Ratnam's wife Suhasini's uncle as well. There is also a rumour that Trisha may be roped in for this movie as a second heroine but that's all speculation right now. ALL ABOUT JAWAN Jawan is an action thriller written and directed by Atlee. It stars Shah Rukh Khan along with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Jawan is scheduled for theatrical release on June 2, 2023. This is Nayanthara's Hindi debut and the film was shot across Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and Aurangabad.
