Location maybe decent but the hotel needs to be better for the modern traveller. Beds were dirty, service was bad- starting from the receptionist to the bell boy, everyone seemed uninterested to work. Telephone line was not working, extra pillow wasn’t there. The restaurant is close by which is good and the view from the hotel is great but other than that nothing much to offer I stayed here which is in Guptakashi during 2nd week of November 2020. The rooms are ok, but the food and service is bad. The guy managing the resort has lot of attitude. The Geysers switched off, even when people are in the room. You need to request multiple times to switch on the geyser. The food is also not that great. We had food in a hotel, which is next to building. Only good thing, the rooms have a good view. As we have booked Guptakashi( some Aero)Helicopter for Kedarnath, this is the nearest hotel with our type of choices. In the first look we pleased to book it but as time passed on, the bathroom not looked okey. The room carpet started stinking. The damp smell reappeared time to time. Otherwise the service is good. The scenary is good. Actually it is good for one day stay not much. The resort is fantastically situated amidst the green forest facing a small waterfall. Tara lal the owner was very accommodating and he is always readily available to answer any doubts. Good English and there was no communication barrier.
