Valley of Flowers (Kevadia)

Valley of Flowers. Valley of flowers is also known as Bharat -Van. It is spread over a large area. Well-constructed, paved pathways crisscross artistically laid out flower beds for flowering plants, greens of various shaded, and various types of flowering creepers. Most of the flower and plant varieties are commonly found in India. There are plenty of places specifically made as “selfie points”. Towards the western edge of the area of the Valley of Flowers, there is a raised bridge-like structure from where one can have an excellent view of the Narmada River and the Statue of Unity. As one can guess it is called the “Statue of Unity viewpoint”. The complete area of the valley of flowers was like a chequered board with patches where colours ran riot as seasonal flowers were in full bloom. Other patches are vibrant greens of various shades. Looking at all those different shades one simply marvels at the beauty of Nature. The sun was quite strong and except for me, all rested in the shade. I went right till the end and had my photo taken at the Statue of Unity viewpoint.
