Another Krishna temple with it's own spiritual vibes. Temple surroundings are the main attraction. Visit it in the EVENING only. Lighting and fountain show of different time period of Shri Krishna are must view thing. Prem Mandir and ISKON temple are hardly a km apart, so better walk then get trapped by auto rickshaw. There are atleast 3 car parkings on the opposite side of the road. Better reach here by 6 pm as around after that they barricade road for four wheelers to enter the city. Prem Mandir, a magical place, an ornate temple., a must visit when in Vrindavan. The place is well managed and kept neat and clean though frequented by thousands of devotees every day. The best time to visit is at the night, when the lighting changes the colour of the otherwise white marble temple to various pretty hues. The place can get crowded and care must be taken for children and elderlies (specially the devotees willing to go the first floor of the temple). In the evening the road lane adjacent to the temple is closed for vehicular traffic, hence its best to park your own vehicle somewhere else (or at the hotel) and take an e-rickshaw. There are plenty of street food options outside the temple, must tries include the hot milk and chaats.
