KTM 390 Adventure V price, seat height, ground clearance, suspension

The KTM 390 Adventure V is the new, low-seat-height variant of the standard bike and it has begun reaching dealerships. That’s a significant drop of 25mm and will make the bike more accessible to short riders. KTM has managed to achieve the lower seat height by fitting new suspension with reduced travel at both ends. The suspension travel is said to be much lower than the 170mm (front)/177mm (rear) travel of the standard bike. Consequently, the ground clearance has also reduced but we are told that it is not by much. KTM 390 Adventure V: who is it for? If you are a short rider and have always wanted to buy a KTM 390 Adventure but the 855mm seat height was a dealbreaker, the ‘V’ variant should be more accessible. The compromises with regards to ground clearance will hamper the bikes off-road ability to some extent, versus the standard bike. KTM 390 Adventure 'V' 2023 With Lower Seat Height Launched

After the launch of KTM Adventure X, the bikemaker introduced another variant of the same. While adventure bikes offer more ruggedness and maneuverability on bad roads, the seating position is on the higher side which translates into better ground clearance. The Let's quickly catch up on all that this new adventure tourer has to offer. KTM 390 Adventure V Launched While the Adventure X is a capable bike for riders, the same can't be said for people with shorter heights. Since the ride height is already high in these tourers, undulating roads call for using our legs for balance. This is where it gets tricky and subsequently, not very safe. This widespread problem is the one targeted by the Adventure V variant. It is a low-seat height variant of the 390 Adventure. By changing the suspension setup on the front and rear, the seat height came down from 855 mm to 830 mm in the 'V' variant. What's Changed The element that helped alter the height is the different front and rear suspensions. Reportedly, these are borrowed from the KTM 390 Duke. Meanwhile, the suspension travel is now shorter too at 142 mm for the front and 150 mm rear with the V variant when compared to 177 mm and 170 mm on the standard variant. It also translates into a lower ground clearance as well, the figures of which are not yet out. But it could be lower by up to an inch when compared to the standard 390 ADV. That's all that is different on the V variant, and everything else remains the same as the standard ...
