Lata Mangeshkar Passes Away: Doctor reveals the reason for her death

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar is no more between us, leaving everyone in the void. Lata ji passed away on February 6 in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital at the age of 92. The singer was earlier admitted to the hospital as she was tested positive for COVID-19. However, she was kept in ICU and on ventilator support when her condition deteriorated. Now, the doctor revealed that she died due to multi-organ failure after more than 28 days of hospitalisation. Sharing an update on the same, ANI shared the Doctor’s statement who was treating the singer. It read, “ It is with profound grief that we announce the sad demise of #LataMangeshkar at 8:12 am. She has died because of multi-organ failure after more than 28 days of hospitalisation post #COVID19: Dr Pratit Samdani, who was treating her at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital” I am anguished beyond words. The kind and caring Lata Didi has left us. She leaves a void in our nation that cannot be filled.
