The Historical place Sant kabeer Nagar ( Maghar )

Sant Kabir a mystic poet & a well-known saint left his mortal coil here. The great personality taught the lesson of brotherhood after death too. When the town was panic stricken with the news of death of the deity, some naughty ailments tried to make it a issue of religious conflict. But the great sole still cared for his people and in the due course of discussion between Hindus & Muslims that he will be buried or burnt, the body disappeared replaced by heap of flowers. The flowers were then divided into half and Muslims buried it whereas Hindus burnt it. Hindus built Samadhi Mandir at the very place where they burnt their flowers & Muslims made Makbara at the very place where they buried there part of flowers. This unique example of co-existence of Hindu-Muslim harmony and peace is visible today in Maghar. Behind the Samadhi-Makbara there is a cave in which Sant Kabir used to perform his deep 'Tapasya'. The present façade and shape of cave is restored by earthwork for about hundred years ago. 'Kabir-Dhuni' and 'Gorakh talaiya' are located about 1km away from Samadhi near Kasarwal village on National Highway. Article Source - Wikipedia

Kabir Jayanti: Maghar the place of burial of poet

* Situated in Sant Kabir Nagar district, close to Gorakhpur, Maghar stands in contrast to Varanasi with respect to religious beliefs. Historically, it is the 620th year of Kabir's birth at Varanasi and the 500th year of his death at Maghar. * ‘Maghar against Varanasi’: Sant Kabir fought against the belief that dying in this town leads a person to hell, while ‘moksha’ can be attained only in Varanasi. * It was said that if you die in Varanasi you will attain salvation and if you die in Maghar you will die a donkey's death, which meant dying here would send one to hell. * Maghar has a mausoleum and a samadhi sthal dedicated to the 15th century poet, who breathed his last here. * Followers of Kabir, popularly known as 'Kabir Panthis', are mostly from the Dalit and backward Hindu castes, with their maximum concentration in eastern Uttar Pradesh. * When Sant Kabir died, there was a dispute between Hindus and Muslims on whether to cremate or bury him. There was almost a war-like situation between the disciples Nawab Bijli Shah of Maghar and Raja Veer Singh Baghela of Varanasi. * According to legend, at that moment, there came a voice that asked them to look under the sheet covering the poet's body. To everyone’s astonishment, instead of his body, there were two flowers. One each was then taken by either side and the two memorials came up which have been following their own traditions for 500 years. * According to another tale, Maghar was an extremely barren land, resembling hell...

Last Updated on 27 June 2022, 10:41 PM IST | Maghar Story: The Supreme God appears on the planet Earth in all four eras to guide His souls who in ignorance worship Brahma Ji, Vishnu Ji, and Mahesh (Shiva). The Supreme Almighty Kabir Saheb descended in Kashi, a city of Uttar Pradesh province in India in 1398 AD. He described SatGyan and bestowed Sat-Bhakti to a number of Saints and disciples. After completing His divine work, He ascended back to Satlok in 1518 AD. Today Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is representing Him and giving the eternal knowledge and Naam Diksha (Initiation) Table of Contents • • • • • • • • • • • • • Kabir Saheb’s Incarnation (Avtaran) on Earth In Kalyug on the full moon day in Hindu Jyeshta month, Samvat 1455 (1398 A.D.), Supreme God Kabir Saheb descended from Eternal Abode Satlok. He incarnated in the form of an infant, and took a position on a lotus flower in the Lahartara lake in Kashi city. Neeru and Neema, a childless Muslim weaver (Julaha) couple, brought Him home. Neeru-Neema were Brahmins by birth but were converted into Muslims under unusual incidents. 12 February 2022: Supreme God They adopted a tiny cloth weaving profession for their livelihood. The infant didn’t eat anything for 25 days. Seeing the state of the infant, Neema prayed to her God Shiv. Shiv came there disguised as a Sadhu. The infant asked Shiv to advise them to bring a maiden cow for nurturing Him with milk. The same was followed by Neeru. Since the parents were weavers, Supreme Go...

The Mag'har

Comment by ra2phoenixThis is the Horde counterpart to the Kurenai faction. Their main base is the quest hub in Nagrand, but they are also involved in a few quests in Hellfire Penninsula that gets you to Friendly to be able to start Nagrand. There are also repeatable quests to grind reputation on. At Exalted, they sell epic Talbuk mounts (also available from Kurenai for Alliance). Upon completing nearly every Mag'har quest in Nagrand, a final quest chain involving Thrall becomes available, with some very nice rewards. Comment by kreghxThe Mag'har are a faction of brown-skinned orcs who remain on Outland and have separated themselves from the other remaining orc clans that fell prey to Magtheridon and joined his army of fel orcs (that are now led by the powerful Kargath Bladefist). The Mag'har are settled in the stronghold of Garadar in the beautiful land of Nagrand, once home to the majority of the orcs along with Terokkar Forest and the Blade's Edge Mountains. The orcs of Mag'har have never been corrupted by either Mannoroth or Magtheridon and thus remained untouched by the bloodlust. Unlike their former clanmates who live in the ruins of their once-mighty holds, the Mag'har are made up of members of different orc clans who escaped corruption. The current leader of the Mag'har, venerable Greatmother Geyah, is an old and wise orc, yet she has recently fallen extremely ill. Garrosh Hellscream, son of the mighty Grom Hellscream himself, serves as the Mag'har's military chief,...
