Makan Cafe

Makan Cafe is a family restaurant which has been operating since 2001. We specialise in Malaysian street food and our menu ranges from traditional Nasi Lemak all the way to stir fry's like Mee Goreng and Char Kway Teow. When entering the restaurant you will also be greeted with an array of dishes cooked fresh daily and your choices range from Chicken Sambal, Fish Curry and various vegetable dishes. Located at the heart of Portobello Road and the buzz of the market will definitely make your experience of coming to us memorable. We serve breakfast from 9am until dinner 9.30pm and our food varies from traditional Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai and Halal English Breakfast to Sizzling Noodles and Singapore Laksa. We also serve combination meals where you select different types of dishes accompanied with rice or noodles. Our hot snacks are also popular ranging from spring rolls, curry puffs and banana buttons.
