Himachal snowfall: 380 roads blocked, avalanche warning issued 380 roads are blocked, electricity and water supply is disrupted as nine districts of Himachal are experiencing fresh snowfall since Friday early morning. Kullu, Shimla, Chamba, Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Kangra, Sirmaur, Mandi and Solan districts are receiving snow. Many parts of Kullu-Manali are witnessing heavy snowfall while most areas in the state received light snow. Snowfall affected traffic movement in many areas. The snowfall in many areas is likely to continue for nearly a week as the weatherman has predicted snowfall till January 27. Atal tunnel’s south portal in Kullu district, which already had nearly two-foot of snow, received 60cm more on Saturday. Solang valley has recorded 45cm more snowfall. The ski slopes here are ready for winter sports events while ski courses are also running here. Manali town recorded 20cm snowfall. Jalori pass and Hamta pass here received over 25cm more snow.
