It includes hi-tech instruments like UV-VIS spectrometer, cooling centrifuges, microfuges, deep freezers, LAF, BOD incubator, electrophoresis (horizontal and vertical), orbital shaking incubators, batch fermenter, binocular and trinocular microscope etc. The secret of success of this department lies in the academic environment and close ties between teachers and students. While one enjoys such flexibility, a grid discipline is maintained as far as the classes and projects are concerned.
