CWG 2022: Full list of Indian medal winners after Day 9

The 22nd edition of the Commonwealth Games is currently being held in Birmingham, England. Nine days of live action have been completed. Saturday, August 6, was the best outing for Team India, with the contingent collecting as many as 14 medals on the ninth day of competition. Team India have so far won 40 medals, which include 13 gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze. On Monday, P V Sindhu and young gun Lakshya Sen lived up expectations by grabbing gold medals as India swept the singles badminton competition while star doubles pair of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy won the country’s third gold from the badminton court with straight-game victory over England’s Ben Lane and Sean Mendy at the Commonwealth Games. India ended the 2022 Commonwealth Games on Monday with 61 medals: 22 gold, 16 silver and 23 bronze medals, which placed the contingent fourth on the overall standings. India’s campaign in Birmingham ended with gold medals for PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen and Satwiksairaj-Chirag Shetty in badminton and Sharath Kamal in table tennis.
