But, the Storck chocolate story goes back much farther, to 1903, when August Storck founded the Werther's — yes, those Werther's — confectionery factory in the German region of Westphalia with just three employees. Today, the Storck company employs over 7,000 workers and is responsible for some other brands you might be familiar with. In addition to Werther's Originals and merci chocolates, they also produce the vibrant Mamba fruit chews and the chocolate caramel candies known as Riesen. In other words, Storck created a whole lot of ways to say "danke."

What flavors come in a box? We currently offer 8 individually wrapped chocolate varieties in our merci Finest Assortment box. They include: Milk Chocolate, Coffee and Cream, Hazelnut Almond, Hazelnut Crème, Marzipan, Dark Cream, Dark Mousse, and Praline Crème. We also offer a Milk Chocolate Assortment box that includes Milk Chocolate, Hazelnut Almond, Hazelnut Crème, and Praline Crème. Do your products contain GMOs? None of our products contain GMO's. Our products are manufactured in Germany and are affected by the Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on genetically modified food and feed. Based on this law we do not use genetically modified ingredients in any of these products.
