NAAC reaccredited the college 'A' Grade with CGPA 3.57. In the current academic year 2018-2019, Mithibai College has memorable achievements, the college was awarded 'Best College Award' by the University of Mumbai, 1st rank for Science and Commerce faculty, and 2nd rank for Arts faculty by India Today. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has granted Mithibai College "Autonomy" for a period of 10 years without any onsite visits by an expert committee.
