Fake Ambulance Case Punjab Mukhtar Ansari UP MPMLA Court Verdict

The MP-MLA court in Barabanki district, Uttar Pradesh, is likely to pronounce the verdict in the Punjab fake ambulance case, involving gangster Mukhtar Ansari, along with two other co-accused, Shoaib Mujahid and Anand Yadav. Their plea for acquittal was denied by the court earlier this week. The court's decision came during a video conference hearing conducted by Special Sessions Judge Kamalkant Srivastava. The next hearing regarding the charges against them is scheduled for June 9. The case involves Mukhtar Ansari's use of a private ambulance with registration number UP 41-AT-7171 while he was incarcerated in Mohali Jail in Punjab. He would use the ambulance to commute to and from the court. The ambulance was found to be registered in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, with fraudulent documents. Investigations revealed that the ambulance's registration was based on a fake voter ID card associated with the address of Dr Alka Rai, the director of Shyam Sanjeevani Hospital in Mau district. A special MP-MLA court on Thursday listed the matter related to the supplementary charge sheet against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler for a hearing on June 30. The CBI filed the charge sheet on May 20 in Rouse Avenue Court. This case is connected with the killing of three Sikhs in the Pul Bangash area on November 1, 1984. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Vidhi Anand Gupta took up the matter after receiving the case file. ACMM Gupta said, “The file is received shortly and needs time to go through it. Thereafter an appropriate order will be passed.” On the last date of the hearing, the CMM transferred the case to the special MP-MLA court since it is a case involving a former MP. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on May 20 filed a chargesheet against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler in a case related to Anti-Sikh riots in 1984 following the assassination of the then Prime Minister of India, on 31 October 1984. Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), June 6 (IANS) The Allahabad High Court has transferred trial of the Usri Chhatti murder case, where mafia don Brijesh Singh is an accused, from the MP-MLA court of Ghazipur to MP-MLA court of Lucknow. This has been done keeping in mind the threat to the applicant as another mafia don, Mukhtar Ansari, is a complainant in this case. Allowing a transfer application filed by one Tribhuwan Singh, Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh said, "The sessions trial No. 304 of 2009 (state Vs. Brijesh Kumar Singh and others), arising out of case crime No. 251 off 2001 under section 302 (murder) and others, that occurred under police station Mohamdabad, Ghazipur district, is transferred from the court of special judge, MP-MLA, Ghazipur to special judge, MP-MLA court at Lucknow." Rejecting the application, the court observed that there was no adequate reason for his absence from trial proceedings.
