Its products include high speed diesel (HSD), motor spirit (MS), and aviation turbine fuel.It owns and operates ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (OMPL), which is a petrochemical unit.

Singapore Gross Refining Margins – Asian benchmark – touched new all time highs of $25.2 per barrel mark, on the back of rising demand for refined products globally. This is expected to benefit Reliance Industries, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, MRPL, and Chennai Petroleum as they process raw crude into refined products. Year-to-date, share prices of pure-play refiners – MRPL and Chennai Petroleum – have jumped 100% to 200%, while that of refiners and marketers like IOCL has gained 6%. HPCL and BPCL declined 15%-20%.
