I can confirm that MTV HD is now available on Comcast at least in my market. In Nashua, New Hampshire its on channel 828. Also some other changes in my area are below. First InHD2 doesn't say InHD2 anymore just the channel number is showing. The guide data now says To Be Announced as well. When tuned on the channel the InHD2 feed is still playing. Now in addition to this Comcast in my area also has added channel 851 which is the full time HD feed of NESN. The channel says NESND and its showing the exact same feed as the SD NESN expect that most stuff at this time is in 4x3 as nothing is being shown in HDTV right now. I've called a couple of contacts for Comcast New England and I'm told its a national contract but right now its in a soft rollout stage so unlike ESPN2 HD it will be rolled out over the next couple of weeks and it just depends on "when" you area gets around to adding it to "their" local lineup. Also areas that have no available bandwidth will not get this new channel unless they either get rid of channel(s) or move another analog channel onto the digital teir which again is a choice each market and even city can make. Mtv HD and NESN-HD are also available in north reading, MA. Also not sure if this is new but 297 shows whdh (local chan 7) weather all day long. Also in some areas (not North reading) 845 comes in as weatherscan, local weather all day from weather channel i believe. According to a comcast rep at my work they use 845 as a bandwidth test.
