CII Goa presents agenda for development

Office bearers of CII- Goa, Anirudh Agrawal and Brajesh Upadhyay, chairman and vice chairperson, called upon the Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant and presented recommendations with regards to development of key sectors of the state. “Highlighting Goa’s immense potential for solar power, CII recommended for incentivizing the industries in solar rooftop players and introducing a policy for ground mounted systems for state for the sustainable development of state. For the tourism industry, CII delegation recommended for the development of nautical tourism and establishing a domestic and international cruise terminal at Mormugao Port with world-class facilities which would enhance the cruise tourism in state. The delegation also highlighted the need of Goa state’s representation at the National Shipping Board of the Shipping Ministry and briefed the CM that, CII has requested for the same with Shipping Ministry and state government should also support the cause for the development of the shipbuilding sector and employment generation as well.
