As per Drik Panchang, Pratipada Tithi of the Chaitra month will begin on March 21 at 10:52 PM and end on the next day i.e, March 22 at 08:20 PM. This year Chaitra Naratri begins on March 22 and ends on March 30. As per Panchang, the auspicious time for Kalash Sthapana will be from 6:29 am to 07:39 am on 22 March 2023. Total Duration: 1 hour 10 minutes. Significance of Chatra Navrati The significance of the festival is that it is the triumph of good over evil and is celebrated over 9 days. During these 9 days, people follow sattvik diet and avoid alcohol, smoking, egg, meat, onion, and garlic. Those who fast consume sattvik bhojan, fruits, vegetables, and milk and avoid grains, cereals and legumes.
