According to San Jose Police, the collision took place in the area of McKee Road and Jackson Avenue, near Regional Medical Center, shortly after 8 a.m. The pedestrian, only identified as an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. Police identify remains found near McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Police have identified the human remains that were found May 17 near the new McLaren Hospital in Lansing. Background: Human remains found near McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital The Lansing Police Department has identified the remains as 39-year-old Matthew Cataline. The cause of death remains under investigation. Police said they received a call just before 2:30 p.m. on May 17 regarding a suspicious situation, and when officers responded to the area, they found human remains in an undeveloped area near the intersection of Discovery Drive and Collins Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lansing Police Department at 517-483-4600. Firefighter injured after large building fire near Galleria

HOUSTON – A firefighter was injured while battling a large building fire near the Galleria on Tuesday. An auto body shop caught on fire on Fountain View Drive and Star Lane. The firefighter suffered a few minor burns but was not taken to the hospital. PHOTOS: Storms topple trees, cause damages in Houston area Large black clouds of smoke could be seen coming from the area Tuesday morning. The fire has been burning since at least 10:50 a.m. Several firetrucks were at the scene. The building suffered serious damage and became a black color.
