NED VS ENG: Liam Livingstone breaks multiple records, smashes explosive 17

NED VS ENG: Continuing his red-hot form from the 2022 Indian Premier League, Liam Livingstone smashed a stunning 17-ball half-century. Livingstone smashed 32 runs in the 46th over of the innings of the bowling of Philippe Boissevain. England posted a record tally of 498 runs on the board during the first ODI. During the first ODI of the three-match ODI series between England and Netherlands, the Eoin Morgan-led side had a record-fest outing at the VRA Cricket Stadium in Amstelveen. The World Champions put a massive total of 498 on the board after the visitors decided to bowl first after winning the toss. In the 46th over of the innings, Livingstone smashed Dutch spinner Philippe Boissevain for 32 runs in an effort that included four sixes and two boundaries. This is the best over in ODI history for England as Livingstone broke Dimitri's Mascarenhas tally of 30 runs in 2007 of Yuvraj Singh's bowling at the Oval. Livingstone reached the 50 mark in just 17 balls and in the process, he registered the fastest half-century by an English batter in the history of the game. He broke skipper Morgan's record (21 balls) which he set against Australia at Trent Bridge in 2018. This is also the joint second-fastest half-century in ODI cricket history alongside Sanath Jayasuriya, Martin Guptill, and Thisara Perera. Livingstone missed Ab de Villiers' all-time record by just one ball. England's tally of 498 in the highest-ever score in ODI cricket history. The Three Lions broke their own re...
