NEET PG 2023: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 exam tentative schedule today, September 16, 2022. Candidates can now check the detailed schedule on the official website — natboard.edu.in. As per the schedule, the The Diplomate of National Board (DNB) or the Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) final practical exam -June 2022 will be conducted in October or November, 2022. And the DNB or DrNB final theory exam will be held on December 21, 22, 23 and 24. The tentative schedule also states that the The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) exam will be conducted on January 8 and the Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) 2022 on January 23, 2023. The Fellowship in National Board (FNB) exit exam is scheduled for February or March, 2023. And the DNB or DrNB final practical exam- December 2022 on February,March or April, 2023. NEET 2023: Thousand of medical aspirants continue to demand the postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance-Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) exam by 2-3 months after the National Board of Examinations (NBE) announced the NEET PG 2023 exam date on January 6. A delegation of FAIMA (Federation of All India Medical Association) members met Union Minister of Health Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya on January 31, Tuesday, regarding the NEET PG 2023 postponement. According to the doctors' associations, if the NEET PG 2023 exam date is postponed, candidates will have enough time to study for the test. The results of the exam will also be used for admission to postgraduate medical courses from the 2024-2025 batch, they said. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET-PG) scheduled for April-May next year could be the last such examination as the admission to PG medical courses thereafter will be based on the results of the National Exit Test to be taken by final-year MBBS students, officials have said. At a high-level held on Monday, the National Medical Commission (NMC) is learnt to have conveyed to the Union Health Ministry that it intends to conduct the National Exit Test (NExT) in December 2023, official sources said on Wednesday. If held in December 2023, MBBS students of the 2019-2020 batch will have to appear for the exam. The results of the exam will also be used for admission to postgraduate medical courses from the 2024-2025 batch, they said. NEET PG 2024 or NeXT Exam? NMC to Review Final Guidelines, Exam Dates This Month

The NeXT Exam was initially planned in a manner to replace the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test, NEET PG 2023 exam and the FMGE 2023 Exams. The exam was scheduled to begin three years after NMC was formed via the NMC Act, 2019, which was made effective from 2020. However, the government had decided to push back its implementation till September 2024. As per sources from the Ministry of Health, who wished to remain anonymous, the guidelines for the NeXT Exam are in the final stage of being finalised and will be presented to NMC later in the month. Along with the guidelines, the tentative exam dates are also expected to be announced for the NeXT Exam. NEET PG 2023 was conducted on March 5, 2023, and the registrations for FMGE 2023 June Session are already underway. Hence, if the NeXT Exam is implemented, the exam is likely to be conducted from 2024. However, a final call regarding the NEET PG Exam is expected to be taken once the regulations are finalised.
