NEET UG Result 2023: Two students from Telangana in top 50 students

Two students from Telangana, Kanchani Geyath Raghu Ram Reddy and Jagruthi Bodeddula secured positions in the top 50 All India Ranks in NEET UG 2023. The results of NEET, held in May, were declared on Tuesday. With 15th All India Rank, Raghu Ram Reddy was the state topper. 42,654 out of 72,842 candidates from Telangana qualified for the exam, double the number from the previous year. Candidates from different categories also secured ranks in the top 10 in their respective categories. Raghu Ram and Jagruthi aspire to become doctors. HYDERABAD: Two students from Telangana, Kanchani Geyath Raghu Ram Reddy and Jagruthi Bodeddula were among the top 50 All India Rank (AIR) in the NEET UG 2023. The results of these exams which were held in May last month were announced on Tuesday. While Raghu Ram Reddy secured rank 15, Jagruthi Bodeddula secured rank 49. Raghu Ram was the state topper for Telangana. This year 72,842 candidates had appeared for NEET from Telangana and of this 42,654 have qualified the exams. The number of candidates who qualified has doubled as compared to 2022 when only 28,093 had qualified of the 50,392 who wrote the exams from the state. Apart from these two students, Gilda Prachi secured the 65th rank AIR and made it to the list of top 20 female candidates. In the top 10 EWS students category, Tela Varun Reddy with 105 AIR rank bagged a spot, whereas in top 10 SC category candidates, Kollabathula Pritham Siddharth with AIR 299 bagged a spot. Hyderabad: One boy and a girl from Kanchani Geyanth Raghu Ram Reddy secured 15th rank by scoring 99.999068 percentile, while Jagruthi Bodeddula bagged 49th rank with 99.9962719 percentile. Ram Reddy is also Telangana topper and Jagruthi stood top among the females in the State. Reddy, whose parents are doctors, said he prepared systematically for 13 hours a day. “I walked in the footsteps of my father Chandramouli Reddy, general physician and mother Hemalatha, gynecologist. I studied 13 hours a day. I intend to pursue MBBS in AIIMS New Delhi and want to become a cardiologist or neurosurgeon,” Reddy said. Jagruthi intends to join MBBS in AIIMS New Delhi or JIPMER. “I studied for 16 hours daily and prepared without losing confidence. My efforts have yielded good results,” Jagruthi said, whose father works as an engineer and mother is a homemaker. Another two students from Telangana, Lakshmi Rasmitha Gandikota and Gilada Prachi secured all India 52nd and 65th rank respectively. Bora Varun Chakravarti of Andhra Pradesh has secured the top rank along with J Prabanjan of Tamil Nadu by securing 720 out of 720 marks in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) [NEET (UG)] 2023 exam. With 99.9999019 percentile, the two students from the southern states shared the first rank. Varun Chakravarthi is also the national topper in the OBC category, according to the results announced by the National Testing Agency. Telangana's KG Raghu Rama Reddy secured all India 15th rank in the general category with 715 marks. Students from the Telugu states have also bagged some of the top ranks. Three students each from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana figure among 20 female toppers. One student each from the Telugu states figure in the list of 20 male toppers. Kani Yasari from Andhra Pradesh bagged second rank in the SC category. She secured all India 40th rank with 710 marks. Andhra Pradesh's YL Pravadhan Reddy has topped in General EWS category. NEET UG results 2023: Experts predict similar cut

It is expected that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET - UG) results and issue the answer key today, June 13. To recall, NEET UG 2023 was held on May 7 for over 20 lakh undergraduate medical aspirants. Ahead of the release of the results, experts are of the view that the cut-off this year is going to be similar to 2022. In 2022, the NEET UG cut-off for all the categories dropped from the previous year, 2021. The NEET cut-off last year for unreserved category candidates had decreased from 720-138 in 2021 to 715-117 in 2022. The NEET UG cut-off last year for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category candidates also declined from 137-108 in 2021 to 116-93 in NEET UG last year. Moreover, the NEET cut-off for MBBS and BDS for medical aspirants belonging to the General category was 50th, while it was 40th for OBC, SC and ST candidates, as stated in a report by Career 360. Experts predictions when it comes to cut-offs Jayaprakash Gandhi, an education expert from Tamil Nadu predicts, "In All India Quota (AIQ), students have to score more than 620 and Scheduled Castes (SCs) students should score more than 500." Director of Spark Academy, Telangana, Yasasvi Santosh forecasts, "In General Category, it may be 500+ for MBBS and 450+ for BDS. Hyderabad: A total of 9,93,069 candidates who took the NEET (UG) 2022 exam qualified, with 35,148 of the 59,296 candidates who appeared for the test from Telangana qualifying. Telangana candidates also made it into the top all India 50, with Errabelly Sidharth Rao securing the all India 5th rank, with a score of 711 in the 99.9997166 percentile. Chappidi Lakshmi Charitha secured the 37th rank, with a score of 705 in the 99.9976198 percentile. Kachana Jeevan Kumar Reddy secured the 41st rank, with a score of 705 in the 99.9976198 percentile. Vurum Aadhithi secured the 50th rank, with a score of 700 in the 99.9943896 percentile. Among the top 10 rank holders in PwD (male, persons with disabilities) category, Vasarla Jaswanth Sai secured a rank of 2,493 with 661 marks. In the ST category, Telangana’s Mudavath Litesh Chouhan came first with an all-India rank of 400, followed by Gugulothu Shivani, who was second with an all-India rank of 715. In fifth place was Lavodya Brinda, with a rank of 1,374, followed by Anumeha Bhukya, who was sixth with a rank of 1,619. In 2021, 50,392 candidates took the exam in Telangana, with 28,093 of them qualifying.
