Lovely Restaurant

The food is so simple yet so full of local pahadi flavours , just for 200 bucks I got to sample such an amazing thali which had rice , moong dal , some greens, noodle salad , 2-3 varieties of chutney , local panner / cheese cooked with spinach and tomato , local mushrooms , it was homely , satisfying and healthy meal and I am craving for it today sitting far away from Gangtok .

Amazing authentic food... Must visit

This is a must visit place for people who want to have authentic food and the location of this restaurant is very good on MG Road itself and they serve the most amazing sikkimese and neplese Thali. We tried lot of things in chicken and poke and each and everything was just perfect we also tried one local Ragi drink which had alcohol it was the most amazing drink I ever had. Nimtho with its tastefully decorated interior has a quiet, warm vibe. We went there in search of local cuisine. They recommended Thakkali thali which is Nepali thali which we accepted. Every item was deliciousWe also asked for Ginger Honey tea which was so soothing on our aching throats. The staff was very polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

Journey your senses into the various Himalayan delicacies. Relish its potpourri of distinct and diverse cultures through our food. Savour age-old recipes and their modern renditions too. You are more than welcome to experience it all. You have your Nimtho; our warm Sikkimese invitation. We had a group of 10 here for lunch. As we ordered the power went out but WOW....what they did with no power and a generator was amazing. The ambiance of the place is great- it's a very comfortable restaurant with a decent menu- not over the top. Everyone's meals came out together (or very close to) and all the food was delicious. Prices are good and I would happily go back to this restaurant again. The staff were helpful and spoke good English too.
