National Testing Agency, by June 3, 2023. Post-deadline, no corrections will be accepted by the NTA under any circumstances. Candidates should know that not all particulars are eligible for change. Check details regarding the particulars, steps to edit the application form, important dates, and other details here. • Visit the official website — • On homepage, click on the link that reads ‘UGC-NET JUNE 2023 (Correction Window)’ • Enter the required login credentials, such as the application number, password and security pin. • Make the necessary changes in the application form. • Review the changes and submit the form • Take printout of confirmation page for future reference • No change allowed in the Photo • No change in candidate’s Name, Date of Birth or Gender will be allowed • Mobile Number, Email Address, Permanent Address & Correspondence Address cannot be altered • Modification is allowed in either Father’s name or Mother’s name (any one only) For Candidates who have not used AADHAR for modification, either the Candidate’s Name, or Father’s Name or Mother’s Name (any one) can be modified. The candidates are required to make the corrections carefully and cautiously, since no further changes will be accepted by NTA post June 3, 2023. Introduction The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a Test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘ Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘ Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges. The UGC-NET is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode w.e.f. December 2018 onwards. Awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship depends on the aggregate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-NET. The candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professorship are not eligible to be considered for the award of JRF. Candidates who qualify the eligibility test for Assistant Professorship are governed by the rules and regulations of the concerned Universities/Colleges/State Governments, as the case may be for recruitment of Assistant Professor. NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency will close the UGC NET 2023 Exam application registration today for the December 2022 session on the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by creating their profile on the website up to January 17, 2023. Those who were able to register before the deadline will be able to take the exam and potentially qualify for the positions mentioned above. Meanwhile, the Agency has revised the last date for calculating the age limit to apply for JRF.
