McCoy will join up with last year's semi-finalists after finishing the Indian Premier League with Rajasthan Royals. Sussex began their Blast campaign with a home defeat by Glamorgan on Thursday. On a surface which was a little sticky and playing through the line was the only option that was working for the batters, especially at the start, West Indies' McCoy just proved to be a handful, against a line-up which has decided to take on any attack from the outset. This approach will work most of the times in T20s but sometimes on surfaces which are conducive to fast bowling, it may play in the pacer's hands and it did for McCoy on Monday.
