The next ODI World Cup will take place in India in October-November 2023. This will be the 13th edition of the marquee event, and the 4th to be staged on Indian soil. This will also be the first time that India will independently host an ODI World Cup. India has previously co-hosted 1987 (with Pakistan), 1996 (with Pakistan & Sri Lanka) and 2011 (with Sri Lanka & Bangladesh) events. Previously, the event was supported to take place between February 09- March 26, 2023, but it was eventually postponed to October-November in July 2020 in the wake of schedule disruption thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic.
