Naatu Naatu wins Best Original Song Award at Oscars 2023: Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava’s performance receives loudest cheer

It’s a historic win for India at Oscars ,2023 with ‘Natu Natu’ winning the Best Original Song and The Elephant Whisperers won best documentary short film award. While India shined bright at 95 th Academy Awards, singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava’s performance on ‘Naatu Naatu’ made the LIVE audience groove to its peppy tune. And to make the event more special, it was our very own Rahul and Kaala Bhairava’s duet simply received loudest cheer from the audience present there. Composer MM Keeravaani and actors Ram Charan and NTR Jr were also a part of the audience and cheered out loud for the singer duos. Earlier today, Rahul took to his social media handle to share his excitement regarding his performance. Here’s the post: Prior to this the song won Golden Globe Award too. Ever since the announcement of Naatu Naatu was originally composed by MM Keeravani for RRR and the Telugu version was sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. Lyrics were penned by Chandrabose. The song that showcases the pride of local pulsating beats to the British officials through a dance-off between the lead characters Ramaraju (Ram Charan), Bheem (NTR Jr) and supporting role Edward (Edward Sonnenblick) was shot the Mariinskyi Palace in Kyiv, Ukraine, in August 2021.
