Parallel Universe and Cyclic Time — Can Mahabharata and Ramayana happen again? Will Maha Vishnu incarnate himself as Lord Rama and Lord Krishna again? – Shriguru Maharishi

Hari Om According to Vedic cosmology, there is no absolute start to time, as it is considered infinite and cyclic. Also, the space and universe has neither start nor end, rather it is cyclical. The current universe is just the start of a present cycle preceded by an infinite (countless) number of universes and to be followed by another infinite number of universes. We are programmed to experience time in a linear fashion. It’s simple and easy to conceive. Because what goes shall never come back! You cannot walk back in time. Your time starts from your birth and ends with your death. That’s how we experience time in linear form. In Santana Dharma, time is a cyclic concept. Everyday Bhrama wakes up, creates the multiverses, creates earth and humans and the four Yugas come one after other as quickly as the four quarters in a day. By the end of the evening, he winds up his play and goes off to sleep. So what a day in bhrama’s life is becomes billions of human years. Everything that is happening now has happened before and will happen again, is the philosophy on which time in Hinduism works. In western part, the same concept is explained through the theory of multiverses (multiple / parallel universes) . How on various parallel earths, we lead our life in varied or same manner. Hence, time as a cyclic concept is well explored, but not observed (ofcourse its too confusing to observe). Therefore we believe and choose to see a portion of time in linear form. Those who believe and ...

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Deep inside of a parallel universe It's getting harder and harder to tell what came first I'm underwater where thoughts can breathe easily Far away you were made in a sea, just like me Christ, I'm a sidewinder I'm a California King I swear it's everywhere, oh It's everything Staring straight up into the sky, oh, my, my A solar system that fits in your eye, microcosm You could die but you're never dead, spider web Take a look at the stars in your head, fields of space kid Christ, I'm a sidewinder I'm a California King I swear it's everywhere, oh It's everything Christ, I'm a sidewinder I'm a California King I swear it's everywhere, oh It's everything Psychic changes are born in your heart, entertain A nervous breakthrough that makes us the same, bless your heart, girl Kill the pressure it's raining on, salty cheeks When you hear the beloved song, I am with you Christ, I'm a sidewinder I'm a California King I swear it's everywhere, oh It's everything Christ, I'm a sidewinder I'm a California King I swear it's everywhere, oh It's everything It seems like its about dreaming. All the lyrics kinda say things that might go on when you are dreaming/having a nightmare. "Christ I’m a sidewinder I’m a California king" - tossing and turning "a solar system that fits In your eye" "You could die but you're never dead" "Take a look at the stars in your head" "Psychic changes are born in your heart" All of those seem like dreaming or having nightmares. Sounds cool to me. It seems like its...

Love and Parallel Universes?

Supposing that parallel universes do exist does that mean that if you meet and are attracted to a woman or man in this world but don't or are unable to get together and fulfil a relationship with that person in this world for what ever reason that in some other parallel universe that the possibility of those two people getting together, falling in love and getting married etc is being played out? Is it possible that anything can travel from one universe to another, perhaps not physically but a feeling or dream? What do you think? haha, you bring up an interesting notion (not unbeknownst to theorists before), but i'd have to side with Cyclovenom on this one...no point in dreaming about a universe that by definition, if it were to exist, we would never even hope to be able to observe on any level..go for what you can, and disregard the misses ;) I've thought a mess about this and kinda woundered, "if I love it, I'll be in a parallel universe with it" but at the same time, what if I hate it? would that mean if I hate somthing I (know??) I'll be in a parallel universe with it? and then saying, "what if I'm in a parallel universe with somthing that I don't even know and then that parallel universe comes into THIS universe??" Sorta like a premintion effect, eg) vivid dream that occurs in life so in that thought, "am I constantly shifting universes with only the control I know how to achive??" but along the parallel universes, couldn't the near split between love/hate beacuse the...

The Theory of Parallel Universes

The Theory of Parallel Universes - dummies Not all physicists really believe that these universes exist. Even fewer believe that it would ever be possible to contact these parallel universes. Level 1: If you go far enough, you’ll get back home The idea of Level 1 parallel universes basically says that space is so big that the rules of probability imply that surely, somewhere else out there, are other planets exactly like Earth. In fact, an infinite universe would have infinitely many planets, and on some of them, the events that play out would be virtually identical to those on our own Earth. We don’t see these other universes because our cosmic vision is limited by the speed of light — the ultimate speed limit. Light started traveling at the moment of the big bang, about 14 billion years ago, and so we can’t see any further than about 14 billion light-years (a bit farther, since space is expanding). This volume of space is called the Hubble volume and represents our observable universe. The existence of Level 1 parallel universes depends on two assumptions: • The universe is infinite (or virtually so). • Within an infinite universe, every single possible configuration of particles in a Hubble volume takes place multiple times. If Level 1 parallel universes do exist, reaching one is virtually (but not entirely) impossible. For one thing, we wouldn’t know where to look for one because, by definition, a Level 1 parallel universe is so far away that no message can ever get f...

Brian Greene: A Physicist Explains 'The Hidden Reality' Of Parallel Universes : NPR

The supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy. Our universe might be really, really big — but finite. Or it might be infinitely big. Both cases, says physicist Brian Greene, are possibilities, but if the latter is true, so is another posit: There are only so many ways matter can arrange itself within that infinite universe. Eventually, matter has to repeat itself and arrange itself in similar ways. So if the universe is infinitely large, it is also home to infinite parallel universes. Does that sound confusing? Try this: Think of the universe like a deck of cards. "Now, if you shuffle that deck, there's just so many orderings that can happen," Greene says. "If you shuffle that deck enough times, the orders will have to repeat. Similarly, with an infinite universe and only a finite number of complexions of matter, the way in which matter arranges itself has to repeat." Greene, the author of The Elegant Universe and The Fabric of the Cosmos, tackles the existence of multiple universes in his latest book, The Hidden Reality: Parallel Universes and the Deep Laws of the Cosmos. Recent discoveries in physics and astronomy, he says, point to the idea that our universe may be one of many universes populating a grander multiverse. "You almost can't avoid having some version of the multiverse in your studies if you push deeply enough in the mathematical descriptions of the physical universe," he says. "There are many of us thinking of one version of parallel universe theor...
