Director Om Raut took to social media to share the news of Adipurush' world premiere, writing, "Beyond Excited and Honored! Adipurush, the epic saga of courage and devotion, is set to make its world premiere at the prestigious #TribecaFestival on the 13th of June in New York." In a poster which he shared alongside the news, Prabhas can be seen as Raghava, looking up at the sky with his bow and arrow drawn taut for release. As per the poster, the Tribeca Film Festival will take place between June 7 to June 18. According to a report in Zee News, reacting to the premiere, Om Raut said, "Adipurush is not a film, it is an emotion, a sentiment! It is our vision of a story that resonates with the very spirit of India. When I learnt that Adipurush has been selected by the esteemed jury of one of the prestigious film festivals in the world that I always aspired to be at as a student! Adipurush Advance Booking: As the release date of Adipurush inches closer, moviegoers have already started to book their tickets for the much-anticipated film. Most of the shows in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore are already sold out, scoring a huge opening weekend at the box office. The film has already sold over 1 lakh tickets and is expected to sell more by the end of Thursday (June 15) night. PVR and INOX are leading from the front for Adipurush (Hindi) with 1 lakh tickets being sold from the film's advance booking. On the other hand, Cinepolis has approximately sold 23,000 tickets so far. As far as the opening day is concerned, Om Raut's magnum opus has sold 49,000 tickets in PVR and INOX and 13,000 tickets in Cinepolis. Including the national chains and non-national chains, the cumulative count goes around 1.5 lakh tickets.
