The ProFe Advantage ProFe is a non-ionic iron supplement that was designed to be easily digestible and easily absorbed. The non-ionic formulation is well-tolerated by the body so there is a low incidence of stomach cramps, nausea, bloating, gas, diarrhea and constipation which may occur with other iron supplements. The small #1 size capsule is easy-to-swallow. Iron deficiency anemia occurs when there is not enough iron in the body to support normal red blood cell production.
