June 14, 2023 Overview 1. The University of Tokyo scientists achieve the delicate task of arranging quantum sensors at a nanoscale, allowing them to detect extremely small variations in magnetic fields. 2. The high-resolution quantum sensors will have potential uses in quantum materials and electronic device research. For example, the sensors can help develop hard disks that use nano-magnetic materials as storage elements. 3. This is the world’s first successful high-resolution magnetic field imaging using a nanoscale arrangement of quantum sensors. 4. Kento Sasaki and his team, headed by Kensuke Kobayashi, published their research in Applied Physics Letters. Sensors surround us in our daily life, from garage lights to smoke detectors and even atoms. Quantum sensors sense the environment around them using the properties of atoms. For example, an atom changes its spin, which takes two values like the poles of a magnet, in response to a magnetic field. Magnetic field sensors have many applications in biomedical appliances and quantum materials research, including superconductors. The marketing email asked if I had "unsubscribed accidentally" and had directions to resubscribe to receive updates or ignore if I had intended to unsubscribe. This is a violation of the CAN-SPAM Act and harassment as the Founder of this university, *************************, sent me a cease and desist after reaching a settlement for work that he attempted to evade paying me for and is now sending me unwanted marketing emails. I was convinced to put a $2500 deposit down for a degree program here so I could take advantage of a tablet that was preloaded with courses even though I told the guidance counselor I wouldnt be starting the program for 2-3 months. First the tablet wasnt preloaded and I was hounded to sign the document which I am VERY sorry I didnt read there are no refunds after 90 day policy. I then started school around 90 days after. I will say the guy whom started the school is close to impossible to understand. There is zero interaction with faculty teaching or any students.
