Tejashwi Yadav spill the beans about marrying Rachel Godinho in low

Tejashwi Yadav returned from Delhi, where he married long-time friend Rachel Godinho in a low-key affair, hoping to put a bitter family feud behind him. The decision to marry a Christian girl sparked a feud, with his uncle Sadhu Yadav vowing to "boycott" Lalu Prasad's younger son and "teach him a lesson." Tejashwi informed reporters after landing in Bihar with his wife, who was dressed in red that Lalu Prasad personally renamed Rachel Rajshri for ease of pronunciation. The 32-year-old, the RJD chief's political successor, also addressed his maternal uncle Sadhu Yadav's objection to marrying a Christian woman rather than one from the Yadav caste. He described it as "confusion" and claimed he didn't want to make personal remarks since he still respects his uncle. Tejashwi, on the other hand, stated that such notions are considered discriminatory by the younger generation. He stated that they are young people with new ideas and opinions; when it comes to eradicating prejudice, we are Lohiaites and Samajwadis; there should be no discrimination. The leader also explained why he chose to have a low-key wedding, as opposed to some colleagues who had grandiose affairs. He stated that the wedded pair agreed to leave enough room for the two families to socialise and get to know one another. He added that had the Prime Minister and other prominent leaders attended their wedding, they would have been engaged in managing many things, and the families wouldn't have had time with each ot...

Rachel turns Rajeshwari to marry Tejashwi but uncle Sadhu Yadav is not happy

By Rohit Kumar Singh: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav tying the knot with a Christian woman has angered Sadhu Yadav, his maternal uncle. On Thursday, Tejashwi Yadav got married to Delhi-based Rachel Godinho, his long-time friend. Post wedding, Rachel will now be known as Rajeshwari Yadav. Speaking about the marriage of his nephew with a Christian woman, Sadhu Yadav on Friday said that Tejashwi Yadav has humiliated the Yadav community by marrying a woman from a different religion. "Tejashwi wants the vote of Yadavs in election but has married a Christian. He should now go to Chandigarh and Kerala and seek vote of the Christian community. There is nothing left for him in Bihar," said Sadhu Yadav. Sadhu Yadav also questioned that since Tejashwi Yadav had married a woman from a different religion by breaking the caste barrier, then on what basis was he pressing for a caste-based census in Bihar. "If Tejashwi Yadav does not give importance to caste, then why is he demanding a caste-based census in Bihar?" questioned Sadhu Yadav. Sadhu Yadav said that Tejashwi Yadav's wedding had caused him immense pain and that he would not even congratulate him. "Why did Lalu family hide the marriage of their son? They did not even reveal the name of the bride after marriage. There was definitely something wrong with the wedding which had been kept under wraps. Whenever Bihar is facing some problem, Tejashwi Yadav runs away to Delhi," said Sadhu Yadav. Also Read |
