Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, who had a horror car accident in December 2022, appeared in public for the first time, attending the ongoing 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) match between the Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium. He still needs crutches to walk and was aided by officials as he greeted people before watching the game. In the early hours of December 30, 2022, Pant was driving his own car on his way to visit his mother and celebrate the new year with her when his car suffered a major accident on the Delhi-Dehraun highway. His car collided with a divider, flipped multiple times, and caught fire. With the help of locals, Pant managed to escape before the car burst into flames.
