Cricketer Rishabh Pant hospitalised after serious car accident

His car met with an accident near Roorkee. Pant who was driving the luxury sedan alone, lost control over the vehicle and it hit the divider on NH 58 of Manglaur and Narsan area of Haridwar district. Pant was sent to Roorkee for treatment with the help of 108 Civil Hospital, the incident happened at 5:15 AM in the morning. He suffered serious injuries in the accident but is in a stable condition now. This accident happened in the Mohammadpur Jat area near Roorkee. After getting injured, Rishabh was taken to a hospital in Roorkee. Pharmacist Monu Kumar of the 108 ambulance, in which Rishabh Pant was taken to the hospital from the spot, spoke to Aajtak.in. Pharmacist Monu Kumar said that the ambulance reached the spot around 5:40 am on Friday. By then, a bus driver passing by had taken Rishabh out of the badly burning vehicle. After that, he immediately put Rishabh on a stretcher and called an ambulance. Rishabh was hurt in the eye, bleeding from the nose, his back was peeled, there was also an injury to his leg. Team India's star wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant is recovering well from his injuries after he met with a horrific car accident, last year in December. In a good news for the Indian fanbase, Pant will be reportedly discharged from the hospital this week. A few days ago, he shared an update about his recovery on social media. The 25-year-old is currently admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, where he underwent surgery. “He is doing pretty great. It’s good news from the medical team. The first surgery was successful and that is what everyone wanted to hear. He will be discharged this week,” a senior BCCI official was quoted as saying by InsideSport. As per the same report, Pant will undergo second surgery in March to fix the torn ACL in his right knee. “He will need another surgery in about a month. Doctors will decide when it is right to have the 2nd surgery. BCCI Medical team is in constant touch with Dr Pardiwala and the hospital.
