India’s star player Rishabh Pant suffered a deadly car crash in December, last year and after that, he has been ruled out of the cricket field, since he is still recovering from the injuries he sustained. The 25-year-old has been constantly updating his fans about his recovery and often shares videos and pictures of his training. In a recent update, the Delhi-based player posted a video on his Instagram handle where he was spotted walking without any support. "Not bad yaar Rishabh. Simple things can be difficult sometimes," he captioned. After the video was posted, one of the fans commented, "Asli Spiderman toh ye h Indian team ka". Earlier, India’s opener Shikhar Dhawan met Pant at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. He also posted a picture from their reunion. Dhawan and Pant share a very good bond since the duo were a part of the same IPL team, Delhi Capitals. Pant has not played for India ever since he met with a near-fatal car crash in December last year. He was also ruled out from the IPL 2023 and as a result, David Warner was asked to take the captaincy role. Rishabh Pant Latest Health Update Rishabh Pant Recovering Pant Discharged Hospital This Week

Team India's star wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant is recovering well from his injuries after he met with a horrific car accident, last year in December. In a good news for the Indian fanbase, Pant will be reportedly discharged from the hospital this week. A few days ago, he shared an update about his recovery on social media. The 25-year-old is currently admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, where he underwent surgery. “He is doing pretty great. It’s good news from the medical team. The first surgery was successful and that is what everyone wanted to hear. He will be discharged this week,” a senior BCCI official was quoted as saying by InsideSport. As per the same report, Pant will undergo second surgery in March to fix the torn ACL in his right knee. “He will need another surgery in about a month. Doctors will decide when it is right to have the 2nd surgery. BCCI Medical team is in constant touch with Dr Pardiwala and the hospital. We hope to see him back on the field soon,” the official added. Pant is likely to remain out of action for over next six months, which means majority of 2023, including this year's IPL and ODI World Cup in India. “We are not even thinking of his comeback now. It shows that Pant is making a fast recovery from his injury. Rishabh Pant played his last game for Indian Cricket Team against Bangladesh on December 22, 2022, in the longest format of the game. Pant was immediately ruled out from the upcoming ICC World Cup following his injury. He had to go through three crucial surgeries to get on his feet. During his initial days of recovery, the 25-year-old visited the training camp and matches of the Delhi-based franchise and earlier he also made a short visit to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru to encourage the young stars of Indian cricket. Reports in India say Pant suffered injuries to his head, back and leg. Pant crashed between Mangalaur and Nursan, close to his hometown of Roorkee in the northern state of Uttarakhand.
