Thane, 4th April 2023: Thane has seen a surge of political tensions after two cases were registered against Roshni Shinde of the Thackeray group for allegedly posting offensive content about Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and BJP office-bearers on social media. One of the cases was filed by Dattaram Gavas of the Shinde group, which led to a case being registered in Naupada police station. The second case was filed by former BJP corporator Sanjay Vaghule, which led to a case being registered in Kasarwadvali. Roshni Shinde, an office-bearer of Thackeray group’s Youth Sena, has claimed that she was physically assaulted by women activists of the Shinde group while she was at work on Monday night.
