By India Today News Desk: Sahil, the man behind the murder of 16-year-old Sakshi in the Shahbad Dairy area in Delhi's Rohini, was upset over the victim's decision to end their relationship. He was angry because the two had stopped talking to each other, which eventually led him to brutally attack and kill her, according to a preliminary probe. Sahil allegedly When questioned, Sahil admitted that he had been in a relationship with the victim since June 2021. The victim had been staying with a friend named Neetu for the past 15 days. The minor was going to attend the birthday party of her friend’s son when Sahil stopped her and stabbed her multiple times.

The 16-year-old was stabbed 21 times. So ferocious was the attack that the murder weapon -- a knife -- got stuck in her head at one point. A few moments later, the killer picked up a boulder lying nearby and started battering her. He hit her with the boulder five times even as people passed by, with "I don't know why he killed her. Now, only the CCTV footage and the authorities concerned can reveal how and why he killed my daughter," she said. The girl’s father has also said that the murderer should be hanged.
