After shooting for almost one month, the Salaar team, on Sunday (February 28) took to social media to announce the release date with a new poster. Hombale Films, the production house of Salaar, took to Twitter and wrote, "Rebelling Worldwide #Salaar on April 14, 2022. We can't wait to celebrate with you all #Salaar14Apr22 (sic)." SALAAR IS AN ACTION-THRILLER Director Prashanth Neel, in one of the interviews, had said that Salaar will be a full-fledged action thriller. Prabhas will be sporting a beefed-up avatar in the film and his character will be more like a messiah of sorts.
